About the role#
This internship is part of the Future Talent Program and lasts up to 12 weeks. You will work within the Research and Development Division on projects that support preclinical drug discovery. This role focuses on the automation and standardization of optical imaging data analysis and management.
What you'll do#
- Develop and implement automated workflows for processing and analyzing optical imaging data.
- Create visual outputs for publications and presentations using imaging datasets.
- Assist the team with data visualization and the preparation of scientific materials.
- Gain hands-on experience with preclinical in vivo optical imaging workflows.
- Collaborate with scientific team members to identify ways to improve current processes.
What you'll need#
- You are currently an undergraduate student.
- You have an academic background in Data Science, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or Bioinformatics.
- Experience with Python, R, MATLAB, or similar programming tools.
- Exposure to image processing or scientific data workflows.
- Experience with data management, documentation, or workflow standardization.
- A strong interest in in vivo imaging, preclinical research, and biomedical imaging.

- Location: Boston, Massachusetts.
- This is a full-time, on-site internship.
- The position is paid.
