About the role#
The Future Talent Program offers a co-op experience lasting 4 to 6 months. You will work within our Research and Development division on one or more projects. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to drug discovery while exploring potential long-term career goals. Selected candidates must be prepared to provide a research statement, letters of recommendation, and a transcript if interviewed.
What you'll do#
- Participate in molecular modeling or cheminformatics research.
- Work on an independent project or collaborate as part of a drug discovery team.
- Use data, models, and methods to drive hypothesis-driven drug discovery.
- Gain exposure to various research areas within the drug discovery and development process.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an academic program pursuing a BS, BA, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree.
- Completion of at least two years of studies for undergraduates or one year for graduate students by the start date.
- Commitment to continue education for at least one semester after the position ends.
- Strong academic background in chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, informatics, computer science, or mathematics.
- Availability for full-time employment for 4 to 6 months during 2027.
- Programming skills and a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Significant interest in applying modeling or informatics methods to research.

- Term: Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall 2027.

- Compensation: This is a paid position.
