About the role#
The Future Talent Program offers co-operative assignments lasting up to 6 months within the Global Workplace and Enterprise Services (GWES) division. You will work on project-based assignments at our West Point site, gaining hands-on experience by collaborating with teams responsible for facility management, utility operations, maintenance, and project delivery.
What you'll do#
- Work with various teams within the PA GWES organization to assist with maintenance activities and operational data trending.
- Participate in daily and weekly planning meetings.
- Assist with capital projects from initial concept through execution planning.
- Create visual dashboards to track department priorities and KPIs.
- Support the Gemba program and participate in safety walkdowns.
- Develop digital tools to implement automation and simplify internal processes.
- Attend portfolio meetings to monitor facility-related projects, track status, and report on project spending and forecasts.
- Perform administrative duties to ensure proper maintenance of records and reports.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s program for Chemical, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Availability for a 6-month assignment.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- A minimum GPA of 3.00 is preferred.
- Ability to undergo federal background checks for system access.
