About the role#
Motorola Solutions is hiring an Electrical Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Plantation, Florida. You will join a team focused on designing, developing, and testing mission-critical communication solutions for the ASTRO product line.
What you'll do#
- Support projects assigned by your team leader.
- Assist with the certification testing process.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve customer cases.
- Define test plans and validation processes for components and radio certifications.
- Participate in system design and generate technical documentation.
- Use electronic equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power meters, network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Your expected graduation date is December 2026 or later.
- You have coursework or knowledge in communication, digital systems, and RF systems.
- You are a US citizen, a permanent resident, or an MS student with valid work authorization.
