About the role#
Mortenson is hiring a Marketing Intern for the summer of 2027. You will join our marketing and business development team in Denver to support communications, project research, and design efforts. This is a full-time, on-site, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Gather and verify project and team member information for internal communications and proposals.
- Maintain personnel and project data within company databases and network files.
- Create and organize graphics and photography for marketing materials.
- Use design software to produce layouts, logos, and graphics.
- Collaborate with local and corporate marketing teams to develop design concepts.
- Research external partner organizations to assist the business development team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Journalism, or Business Administration.
- Thorough prior experience using Adobe InDesign.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
- Strong attention to detail regarding aesthetics, design principles, and brand guidelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively and solve problems effectively.
- Demonstrated initiative and leadership skills.
