About the role#
As an Environmental Intern, you will support the environmental management team in Denver. You will review documentation and advise on environmental matters while ensuring work aligns with company policies and procedures. This role provides hands-on experience working directly with project teams.
What you'll do#
- Support the project management team in developing and executing site-specific environmental plans.
- Participate in project planning and environmental risk analysis.
- Assist with the implementation of policies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Help manage onsite best management practices.
- Document and report environmental violations or non-compliance conditions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate, four-year degree program in geology, environmental engineering, environmental management, environmental science, biology, or a related field.
- Junior standing is preferred.
- Previous internship experience in a related field.
- A basic understanding of construction and general business practices.
- A positive, professional attitude and solid customer service skills.
