About the role#
We offer full-time internships for students interested in field construction management. You will work on large-scale commercial, multi-family, industrial, or institutional projects. This role provides hands-on experience in managing job sites with the goal of preparing you for a career as a Project Superintendent.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate the efforts of multiple trades on site.
- Participate in project inspections and write daily reports.
- Track work progress and alert the Superintendent to any delays.
- Work with municipal officials on project coordination.
- Assist with the project punch-list and oversee the completion of all disciplines.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency with computers, the internet, and standard office software like word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, self-starting approach with a focus on problem-solving.
- Reliability, thoroughness, and a positive attitude.
- Attention to detail and a desire to learn.
- Ability to work productively with others.
Location & details#
- Location: Nashville, Tennessee.
- This is a full-time, on-site role split between the local office and the assigned jobsite.
- A valid U.S. Driver’s License is required.
- You must have authorization to work in the U.S.
