About the role#
This 10-week summer internship program provides exposure to Internal Audit functions and technology coverage areas at Morgan Stanley. Participants join the Internal Audit Department in June to gain experience in audit fundamentals and methodology. The program includes training, networking opportunities, peer mentorship, and a group project.
What you'll do#
- Develop a working knowledge of business and technology principles and basic auditing standards.
- Learn audit tools and testing techniques.
- Execute assurance activities, such as audits and continuous monitoring, with guidance.
- Perform testing procedures by gathering evidence, executing test steps, and documenting results.
- Produce work that aligns with team priorities and department deliverables.
- Contribute to discussions regarding risk and business impact.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a master's degree, with a preference for Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technology fields.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Less than one year of full-time professional experience.
- Working knowledge of Information Security and Technology.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively.
