About the role#
This part-time internship supports the Manufacturing Finance team at Glen-Gery. You will work approximately 20 hours per week helping with routine accounting and reporting tasks. This role provides exposure to financial processes within a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the monthly accounting close and prepare financial statements for specific locations.
- Support weekly forecasting and profit estimation planning.
- Prepare journal entries to ensure financial records stay accurate.
- Perform monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and provide supporting documentation.
- Help management with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a BS or BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and account reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- The ability to manage your responsibilities independently in a part-time role.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with JD Edwards ERP systems is a plus.
