About the role#
This 10-week summer program provides exposure to the Internal Audit department and various business functions at Morgan Stanley. Analysts participate in training on audit fundamentals and methodology, engage with senior leadership, and complete a group project. Successful participants may be considered for the full-time Internal Audit Analyst program.
What you'll do#
- Develop a working knowledge of business principles and auditing standards.
- Execute assurance activities including audits and continuous monitoring.
- Document narratives and perform control testing.
- Gather evidence and escalate issues or questions.
- Contribute to messages regarding risk and business impact.
- Collaborate with team members to produce quality work.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a master’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or a related field.
- Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Less than one year of full-time professional experience.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and pay close attention to detail.
