About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will gain practical experience in audit and assurance. You will work alongside experienced professionals on real-world engagements, helping ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting for our clients.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with audit teams on data entry, documentation, and basic financial analysis.
- Assist with audit procedures, including substantive and control testing.
- Maintain audit files to ensure they are accurate, organized, and compliant with firm standards.
- Prepare workpapers and audit reports.
- Compile financial data and transactions for analysis.
- Participate in analytical procedures to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues.
- Engage in training and learning opportunities to build your understanding of audit concepts and software.
- Communicate with team members to provide status updates and ask questions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- 0 to 1 year of relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to professional work standards.
