About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Winter 2028 based in Atlanta. You will join a team focused on various tax specialty areas, including corporate taxation, individual taxation, and pass-through entities. This role offers hands-on experience with tax planning, research, and compliance.
What you'll do#
- Work with a team on tax specialty areas such as accounting for income taxes, mergers and acquisitions, and private client services.
- Prepare federal and state and local tax returns.
- Perform tax planning and research tasks.
- Build your understanding of tax regulations and accounting pronouncements.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting.
- You have completed at least 90 credit hours.
- You have access to reliable transportation for travel to client locations.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong communication skills are helpful.
