About the role#
As a Tax Intern in Core Tax Services, you will work under the supervision of experienced professionals to support our client base. This role provides a hands-on perspective on our firm practices and offers an opportunity to build professional relationships.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns and extensions.
- Assist with components of income tax provisions.
- Use online research tools to gather tax information.
- Perform quarterly estimates.
- Assist with responses to notices from the Internal Revenue Service.
- Help project year-end filings.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting or a relevant field.
- Active pursuit of school credits to become a CPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team setting and follow instructions.
