About the role#
This 10-week summer program offers hands-on experience within the Eaton Vance Equity group. You will work directly with portfolio managers and analysts on active research projects. The program begins with one week of training in New York followed by nine weeks based in our Boston office.
What you'll do#
- Support portfolio managers and equity analysts with daily tasks.
- Conduct basic research on various sectors, industries, and companies.
- Attend investment, company, and industry specialist meetings.
- Build financial models using data from company filings and public sources, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Extract specific data from financial reports and databases to update models.
- Learn to navigate market data systems.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- You possess strong analytical skills and a desire to learn.
- You can work independently and collaborate with a team.
- You are organized, manage your time well, and communicate clearly.
- You are detail-oriented, accurate, reliable, and proactive.

- This is an on-site internship located in Boston, Massachusetts.
- The program term is Summer 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
- The base pay rate is 52.89 dollars per hour.
