About the role#
This internship supports the transition of daily operations at the Charles Lindbergh House and Museum. You will work under the Partnership Sites Manager to help shift management from the Minnesota Historical Society to the Little Falls Chamber of Commerce and Tourism. This is a part-time, temporary role running from January 19, 2027, to May 23, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative support to the Charles Lindbergh House and Museum.
- Prepare and organize interpretative and training materials.
- Assist in staging the museum and historic home for the Little Falls Chamber of Commerce and Tourism.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly with the Partnership Sites Manager.
- Collaborate with various departments across the Minnesota Historical Society.
- Travel between sites, including the Charles Lindbergh House in Little Falls and the Minnesota History Center in St. Paul.
- Attend three professional development seminars and prepare a final presentation at the end of the term.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student, or graduation within the past 12 months.
- A degree or current studies in History, Public History, Museum Studies, Education, or Business Management.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative setting.
- Experience or a willingness to learn Google Suite.
- An understanding of how to research historical topics using primary source material.
- Reliable transportation, as travel to multiple sites is required.

- Hours: 15 hours per week, with a flexible schedule coordinated with your school needs.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
