About the role#
Join MiniMed for a summer internship where you will contribute to meaningful projects and gain hands-on experience. You will be part of a collaborative intern community, build your professional network, and work alongside experienced teams in software development, AI, data science, cloud, quality, DevOps, systems, testing, and firmware engineering. This is a full-time, paid position lasting 10-11 weeks.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, test, debug, and implement software components, tools, and utilities.
- Support the development and execution of cloud strategy, including design, planning, and maintenance.
- Develop, modify, and maintain standards for software systems quality operating methods and processes.
- Test the functionality and performance of software applications and develop test plans and scripts.
- Develop and program integrated software algorithms to structure and analyze data in product applications.
What you'll need#
- Working toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering major.
- An anticipated graduation date of Winter 2027, Spring 2028, Winter 2028, or Spring 2029.
- Currently authorized to work in the United States. We do not provide work authorization sponsorship for internships.
- Ability to participate full time, 40 hours per week, for the duration of the internship.

- Location: Northridge, California.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (onsite a minimum of 3 days per week).
- Term: Summer 2027.
