About the role#
Join MiniMed for a summer internship where you will gain hands-on experience and contribute to our mission of supporting people living with diabetes. This is a full-time, paid position lasting 10 to 11 weeks. You will join a collaborative intern community and work alongside our engineering teams to support quality and reliability initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality standards and protocols for processing materials.
- Ensure that suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services.
- Develop, coordinate, and conduct technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Computer, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Minimum 3.0 out of a 4.0 cumulative GPA.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Please note that MiniMed does not provide sponsorship for this internship.
