About the role#
Insulet Corporation is looking for an Associate Software Development Engineer in Test to join our DevOps, Tools, and Automation team. This role focuses on building and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure the performance and reliability of our software systems. You will work on Python-based development tasks and contribute to the overall quality of our products.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python for backend services, APIs, and web applications.
- Build reusable Python modules and utilities to support test automation.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into Jenkins pipelines.
- Execute test plans, analyze results, and report defects with clear documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving test coverage and reliability.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant engineering program.
- 0-2 years of hands-on experience in software development or functional and non-functional testing.
- Programming experience, with a preference for Python.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January 11, 2027 - June 30, 2027) and Summer 2027.
