About the role#
The Medical Visualization team develops interactive applications that educate surgeons and communicate the science behind medical technology. As an intern, you will gain experience as a Realtime 3D Graphics Application Developer in a corporate setting. You will assist the team with art processes, marketing content, and medical education projects while following established corporate standards.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of interactive applications using VR and AR technologies.
- Maintain and update hardware and software systems.
- Document bugs, issues, limitations, and workarounds.
- Evaluate new technologies and investigate alternative approaches to technical challenges.
- Create and execute unit, runtime, and behavioral testing procedures.
- Configure and maintain testing environments.
- Manage digital assets within Unity, Unreal Engine, and content management systems.
What you'll need#
- Status as a college senior or graduate student pursuing a degree in 3D Graphics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Interactive Media. Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date.
- Knowledge of at least two of the following: Unity, Unreal Engine, Autodesk Maya, Visual Studio, Omniverse, Rider, Pixyz, or 3ds Max.
- Experience with programming, software testing, test automation, scripting, 3D mathematics, 3D graphics, or LLM training.
- Ability to follow written and verbal direction.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

- Term: Summer 2027 (May 2027 to August 2027).
- Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week.
