About the role#
The Software Engineering Intern position is a full-time, paid summer opportunity. You will work on-site at either our Carmel, Indiana or Eagan, Minnesota office. This role requires you to be available from June 2nd, 2027, through August 13th, 2027. Please note that we do not offer visa sponsorship, including OPT or CPT.
What you'll do#
- Build real features in production applications and services.
- Pair with engineers to ship code and learn modern development practices.
- Explore AI-enabled engineering to automate tasks, improve developer workflows, and power new user experiences.
- Contribute to platform and operations work, including data pipelines, observability dashboards, and automated remediation workflows.
- Participate in community service events, intern socials, networking activities, and development programming.
- Prepare a final presentation summarizing your project work, recommendations, and areas of impact.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a graduate degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Java, and Angular/TypeScript.
- Comfort using Git/GitHub, CI/CD, containers, and modern IDEs like VS Code, IntelliJ, or Cursor.
- Interest in generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and agent frameworks.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking basics, observability, monitoring, automation principles, and security fundamentals.
- Strong curiosity, accountability, and a collaborative mindset.
