About the role#
As a Software Developer Intern, you will join the Instrumentation & Controls organization in Warrendale, Pennsylvania. You will work alongside senior developers to improve the usability of engineering tools. This is a full-time, paid position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the team in understanding customer needs and creating technical solutions throughout the software lifecycle.
- Gather requirements, implement code changes, and test new tool features.
- Document tool features for the team.
- Build relationships with team members, internal partners, and collaborating organizations.
- Follow all company policies and demonstrate a commitment to the nuclear safety culture.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
- Completion of your sophomore year of college.
- Experience with C#, Java, Python, or SQL.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Git.

- Location: Warrendale, PA.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Compensation: $25.40 to $29.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
