About the role#
Join our team as a Cloud Platform Engineering & Developer Experience Intern. You will work on real enterprise technology projects that support our grid operations and electricity markets. You will partner with engineers to build tools that help our teams move faster and work more efficiently. This is a hands-on position focused on automation, cloud infrastructure, and modern engineering practices.
What you'll do#
- Partner with engineers to improve cloud platforms and developer tools.
- Work on cloud automation and infrastructure-as-code.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop new developer tooling and write supporting documentation.
- Improve observability across our systems.
- Contribute to AI-assisted engineering initiatives.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field.
- You have completed at least your first year of college and are currently enrolled in a four-year or graduate-level program.
- You have experience with programming, Git, and Linux.
- You possess curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and clear communication habits.
- You have an interest in cloud engineering, automation, and developer experience.
- Exposure to AWS, Terraform, containers, CI/CD, Python, JavaScript, or AI-assisted development tools is preferred.
- You must have the authority to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship.

- This role is located in Holyoke, Massachusetts.
- The position is on-site.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
