About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern at Gas South, you will work within the Information Technology department. You will assist our development team by learning our technology stack, reviewing our code base, and supporting the QA environment. This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Participate in daily scrums and complete assigned tasks.
- Join code review sessions with the development team.
- Implement minor application changes and write unit tests.
- Conduct manual QA and test automation.
- Perform end-to-end testing for functionality and usability.
- Provide support for production operations to cross-functional teams.
- Seek input from team members to complete your work.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer information systems.
- Prior internship or relevant work experience is preferred.
- Understanding of Azure DevOps and development environments.
- Familiarity with C#, VB.NET, HTML, CSS, or Angular.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure, Azure SQL Server, and Git.
- Knowledge of testing tools such as Selenium or JMeter.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

This role is based in Atlanta, Georgia. Work modality includes both on-site and remote options. Please note that we do not provide sponsorship for this position.
