About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship based on-site in Eagan, Minnesota or Carmel, Indiana. You will support long-term strategy and planning by analyzing trends, load growth patterns, and emerging risks. The program runs from June 2nd, 2027, through August 13th, 2027. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
What you'll do#
- Analyze trends, load growth patterns, and emerging risks to support long-term strategy and planning.
- Refine data inputs and compare regional trends.
- Collaborate with teammates to build meaningful takeaways.
- Contribute to forecasting and strategic analysis projects.
- Attend community service events, intern socials, networking activities, and development programming.
- Deliver a final presentation summarizing your project work, recommendations, and areas of impact.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Economics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Strong critical thinking and research ability.
- Interest in strategy, policy, market dynamics, or risk assessment.
- Proficiency in Visual Studio Code, GitHub, Power BI, PowerPoint, and commonly used analytical tools.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn.
- Strong respect and collaboration skills.
- Comfort synthesizing insights for leadership audiences.
