About the role#
The Miami HEAT is seeking a Marketing & Game Ops Intern for the summer of 2026. This role involves collaborating across the marketing department with a primary focus on Game Operations and Jr. HEAT camp programming. You will support the Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of Marketing on special projects, manage inventory, and handle daily administrative tasks.
What you'll do#
- Support marketing campaign activations and special event coordination.
- Assist with Jr. HEAT camps, including programming, material preparation, and on-site setup and breakdown.
- Monitor and maintain the Marketing and Jr. HEAT event calendar.
- Produce administrative materials for game operations, Jr. HEAT, and team talent.
- Manage promotional material inventory and process departmental invoices.
- Perform administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and managing donation requests.
- Assist with talent requests, scheduling, and provide support to the talent manager.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to take direction, meet deadlines, and balance multiple tasks.
- Capacity to perform physical tasks, including lifting 10-15 lbs.
- Experience in marketing, event planning, or project management is preferred.
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
