Mental Health Cooperative is seeking graduate-level interns to provide clinical mental health services to clients across various age groups. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by managing a small caseload while working under the guidance of a field supervisor. This position is a paid, full-time, on-site internship requiring a two-semester commitment.
What you'll do#
- Carry a small caseload and provide psychotherapy to clients.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and play therapy.
- Collaborate with the client's multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Conduct client assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
- Document client interactions and progress.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a master’s level student in a social work, counseling, or psychology program.
- Ability to provide clinical mental health services.
- Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Experience or interest in client assessments and treatment planning.
- Capability to support clients experiencing grief, trauma, depression, and anxiety.
