About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. Interns will gain exposure to core supply chain functions, work alongside experienced leaders, and contribute to projects that support critical business objectives. The program lasts 10-11 weeks and requires a 40-hour work week.
What you'll do#
- Integrate demand planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to drive cost efficiency and service performance.
- Identify, select, and manage suppliers to ensure a reliable and high-quality supply of materials and services.
- Support initiatives related to regulatory compliance, supply risk mitigation, and strategic procurement.
- Participate in projects that provide hands-on experience in global supply chain operations.
What you'll need#
- Working toward a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Relevant academic project or internship experience.
- Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) during the summer term.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Please note that Medtronic does not provide work authorization sponsorship for this internship.
Location & details#
- Work Modality: This is an on-site role requiring a minimum of 4 days per week in the office.
- Locations: Minneapolis, MN; Plymouth, MN; Mounds View, MN; Fort Worth, TX; Boulder, CO; North Haven, CT; and Memphis, TN.
