About the role#
Medline Industries, LP is hiring a Human Resources Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Northfield, Illinois. You will work directly with HR team members across various functions, including talent management, talent acquisition, and organizational development. This role provides hands-on experience and the opportunity to contribute to real projects that impact the business.
What you'll do#
- Assess and improve touchpoints across the employee lifecycle.
- Support the creation of talent profiles and succession planning materials.
- Analyze employee feedback and present actionable insights to HR leadership.
- Contribute to the development and execution of employee engagement and belonging initiatives.
- Participate in talent acquisition activities, including job postings and resume screening.
- Assist HR Business Partners with employee relations, performance management, and organizational change initiatives.
- Conduct research on HR best practices, trends, and benchmarking data.
What you'll need#
- Junior standing in an undergraduate program, with a 3.0 minimum GPA preferred.
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Unrestricted permanent US work authorization.
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
- Ability to present information effectively to groups.
