About the role#
As a Co-op in our Building Services Division, you will join the team to work on mechanical, plumbing, and building automation projects. You will work alongside Account Coordinators and Account Managers to support projects from start to finish. We look for students who can take initiative and work well within a team.
What you'll do#
- Manage mechanical, plumbing, and building automation service and retrofit work.
- Coordinate with vendors to schedule and procure major material and equipment.
- Review project drawings and visit jobsites to develop estimates and proposals.
- Obtain permits and schedule inspections for active projects.
- Perform take-offs and generate as-builts and closeout documentation.
- Lead meetings to schedule labor and review the weekly labor calendar.
- Support daily tasks like generating purchase orders and reviewing submittals.
- Visit jobsites to check for adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Co-op program at an accredited engineering school.
- Current pursuit of a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Ability to complete at least two full-time, alternating Co-op rotations.
- Preference for candidates who can commit to three or more full-time semesters.
- Ability to handle objects up to 50 pounds and navigate active construction sites when visiting projects.

- This role is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
- The work is on-site.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
- The scheduled rotations are Winter 2027 and Fall 2027.
