About the role#
This full-time internship focuses on application science for flavoring demos in Beverage and Health business segments. You will work on-site in Geneva, Illinois, collaborating with teams across Marketing, Flavor Creation, Research and Innovation, and Sales.
What you'll do#
- Assist Product Developers and Technicians with daily lab tasks.
- Develop basic benchtop application formulas.
- Set up and screen flavors for evaluation.
- Prepare raw materials, finished products, and retention samples.
- Manage lab inventory of snack bases, raw materials, and supplies.
- Maintain accurate lab records and data.
- Keep the lab organized and clean.
- Communicate with related departments regarding projects and products.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate Junior or Senior in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate issues and conduct root cause analysis.
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks.
- Strong work ethic and self-starter mindset.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Geneva, Illinois.
- Term: Summer 2027 (10 weeks, June 7 to August 13).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- This position is paid and does not offer visa sponsorship.
