About the role#
The Finance Intern will work directly with a Finance leader to gain hands-on experience in fiscal responsibility and financial operations. This full-time position is based in Hunt Valley, Maryland, and spans the summer of 2027. You will perform financial analysis and report generation while learning the core functions of the finance department.
What you'll do#
- Perform financial analysis and generate reports.
- Clarify study objectives and identify research methodologies.
- Manage survey design, field operations, and back-end analysis.
- Interpret results and present findings to business teams.
- Lead a summer-long project to update the consumer insight portal into a more strategic tool.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate Junior for the 2026-2027 school year.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 within your major.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to create narratives from data sets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills for interacting with internal customers.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
