About the role#
We are hiring a Finance Intern to join our team in Mount Jackson, Virginia. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position. You will work with our finance department to support daily accounting tasks and help improve our financial reporting processes.
What you'll do#
- Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheets.
- Calculate Virginia state sales tax for maintenance and capital part purchases.
- Help calculate manufacturing KPIs.
- Assist with a project to move treasury management from individual company accounts to a country-wide cash pool.
- Improve our consolidated financial reporting process.
- Handle other accounting and finance tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited degree program for Accounting or Finance.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Location & details#
This role is based on-site in Mount Jackson, Virginia. You will work in both an office setting and on the production floor. The production environment involves exposure to wet or humid conditions, extreme temperatures, and loud noise from equipment. You must be comfortable wearing required personal protective equipment. Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk, reach, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds.
