About the role#
As a Technical Program Management Intern, you will learn to understand the what, how, and why of program delivery. You will work across various tools to drive execution plans that aim for higher predictability and efficiency. You will be aligned to teams within Mastercard Technology, which may include areas like Network Gateway Engineering, Open Banking Global Operations, or Global Market Technology.
What you'll do#
- Conceptualize, rationalize, and drive multiple simultaneous projects to deliver engineering work across the portfolio.
- Contribute to strategies, design choices, and cloud infrastructure to create achievable execution plans.
- Drive the execution of features through the full stack or manage projects that span multiple teams and integrations.
- Communicate project status and influence dependent teams across the organization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors degree program with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
- A major or study focus in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Finance, engineering management, or information systems.
- Experience breaking down problems, organizing work, planning sprints, and delivering work in agile models.
- A track record of using data to make decisions and applying continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in O'Fallon, Missouri.
- The program term is Summer 2027.
