About the role#
As a Site Reliability Engineering Intern, you will act as a production readiness steward for our products. You will help ensure our platform remains stable and healthy while working to break down barriers to product ownership. This role focuses on supporting developers during the application build phase by applying principles of operational design, automation, capacity planning, and monitoring. You will help enforce operations standards and contribute to an environment that prioritizes learning and agility.
What you'll do#
- Ensure the stability and health of the production platform.
- Support developers during the application build phase in software run principles.
- Perform triage, root cause analysis, and blameless post-mortems.
- Manage production and change activities to maximize customer experience.
- Engage early in the development lifecycle to provide continuous operational feedback.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems and foundational networking concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of system monitoring, observability, and application reliability.
- This role is not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.
