About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship based in Chicago. You will work on global snacking brands, gaining experience in brand design and front-end innovation. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges and develop design systems. You will receive mentorship and training throughout the program.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of packaging graphics and branding from initial concepts to production-ready designs.
- Visualize new product concepts, portfolio opportunities, and brand experiences.
- Participate in workshops with marketers, R&D, packaging engineers, and consumer insights teams.
- Create presentations, mood boards, concept boards, and visual storytelling materials.
- Use AI-powered creative tools alongside standard design workflows to accelerate ideation.
What you'll need#
- Current student in your sophomore year or older pursuing a degree in Industrial Design or Graphic Design.
- A portfolio showing creative thinking, design fundamentals, and visual communication skills.
- Proficiency with macOS, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Experience with AI-powered creative tools.
- Strong organization and time management skills to handle multiple projects.
- Preferred: Experience with sketching, Figma, Blender, or motion graphics software.
