About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in either Montville or Parsippany, New Jersey. The role involves working in both a professional office and a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
What you'll do#
- Design and analyze aerospace control components.
- Write technical documents, including assembly procedures, special processes, and test reports.
- Support the design and validation of fixtures used for assembly and test operations.
- Create and review engineering drawings, focusing on tolerance stack-ups.
- Participate in design reviews to help present design parameters.
- Perform basic trigonometry and solid geometry calculations as needed.
- Collaborate with other engineers in a team setting.
What you'll need#
- Current student pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and system knowledge.
- Advanced organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work precisely with close attention to detail.
- Must be a US Citizen.
