About the role#
This internship program offers hands-on experience in the aerospace and defense industry. You will work within the Power and Actuation Systems business unit, focusing on design, production, quality, or test engineering. You will be mentored by experienced engineers as you contribute to mission-critical technology. The program includes a project presentation to senior leadership and opportunities to connect with other interns.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the electrical design, validation, and testing of aerospace systems.
- Create and review schematics, wiring harness layouts, and test procedures.
- Support compliance with military and aerospace standards.
- Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and troubleshooting.
- Work with cross-functional teams to bring designs into production.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering program.
- Strong academic performance in electrical systems, circuits, and hardware courses.
- Experience with CAD tools, specifically Altium, OrCAD, or AutoCAD Electrical.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this role.
- Ability to work full-time on-site.
