About the role#
Marathon Petroleum Corporation is hiring a Financial Analyst to join our team in Findlay, Ohio. This is a full-time position that offers the potential for conversion from an internship. You will work on-site to support our financial operations and performance tracking.
What you'll do#
- Collect and organize data for monthly and quarterly performance analysis of our value chain and commercial operations.
- Help develop business plans, forecasts, and expense budgets by updating templates and gathering necessary data.
- Perform basic variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies in commercial data.
- Build and maintain financial models to track key performance indicators.
- Work with Refining and Commercial team members to gather operational information and support ongoing reporting.
- Propose process improvements to increase the accuracy and efficiency of your daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Zero to three years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role.
