About the role#
This co-op position offers exposure to global colleague community engagement within Manulife. You will learn how corporate social responsibility, event planning, and internal communications drive employee engagement and social impact. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to programs like Impact Week and the Season of Giving while working with cross-functional teams.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning and execution of Impact Week and Season of Giving activities.
- Coordinate with teams across different regions to track participation and program details.
- Gather and organize campaign data, including volunteer metrics and impact results.
- Assist with internal communications, storytelling, and content development.
- Support event logistics and stakeholder coordination.
What you'll need#
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize information into clear insights.
- Comfort working with data, including experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Interest in volunteering, community engagement, and social impact programs.
- Prior experience in event planning, communications, or program coordination is an asset.
- Experience working with global or cross-functional teams is an asset.
- Familiarity with volunteer engagement tools like Benevity Impact Hub is a plus.
