About the role#
This is a temporary full-time student position for an 8-month term, running from January to August 2027. You will join the team to help maintain our technology risk management governance and control frameworks. This role is intended for students registered in a Canadian college or university who are returning to school after their work term or require this placement for graduation. Preference is given to students enrolled in a registered co-op program.
What you'll do#
- Maintain technology risk management governance, risk and controls framework and processes.
- Provide subject matter expertise in information security, operations, IT resiliency, and technology delivery.
- Support risk assessment activities and manage the Issue Register.
- Track and consolidate remediation progress on technology issues and audit findings.
- Assist with annual Business Continuity Planning and Business Impact Analysis.
- Monitor disaster recovery activities.
- Support the review and challenge of risk exceptions and acceptances.
- Conduct risk reviews of key projects and initiatives.
- Prepare business unit reports, metrics, and key risk indicators.
- Contribute to the evolution of technology risk management strategy.
- Monitor compliance with policies and standards across the organization.
- Identify technology risks and controls to strengthen our overall risk posture.
What you'll need#
- Current registration as a student in a Canadian college or university.
- Basic understanding or experience in technology risk and compliance.
- Excellent business writing and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to aggregate and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Ability to build rapport with business teams and manage multiple competing projects.
- A self-starter, results-oriented, and motivated mindset.

- Location: London, Ontario.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Compensation: This is a paid position with an annual base salary range of $45,600 to $68,400, depending on the number of work terms completed and program requirements.
