About the role#
Canada Life is hiring CPA Students for a 4-month summer term from May to August 2027. This full-time position provides practical experience for students pursuing a Chartered Professional Accountant designation. You will work alongside accounting professionals who provide mentorship and coaching as you contribute to our finance goals. We give preference to students enrolled in a registered Co-op program.
What you'll do#
- Consolidate financial information from operating companies.
- Prepare various corporate tax filings.
- Perform bank account reconciliations.
- Execute audit testing for various requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of management discussion and analysis reports.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Superior analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as a self-starter and team player.
- You must submit a resume and your most recent unofficial transcript.
