About the role#
As a Student Leadership Coordinator at the Clearfield Job Corps Center, you will guide students through the leadership program. This role involves administrative oversight and direct mentorship. You will work a mid-day schedule that includes some weekends.
What you'll do#
- Develop and prepare lessons for leadership classes.
- Supervise the student leadership council, including scheduling meetings and guiding their skill development.
- Coordinate the concessions operation and manage the student welfare fund.
- Provide oversight for student leadership positions and staff representatives.
- Chaperone various student leadership functions.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor's degree and one year of related experience, though directly related experience may be considered in place of a degree.
- Experience working with youth.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer proficiency.
- You must hold or acquire a valid UT class B CDL with a passenger endorsement within 60 days of your start date.
- Preferred majors include Psychology, Communications, Business Administration, Human Resources, Sociology, and Political Science.
