About the role#
This is a paid internship for students currently enrolled in the Job Corps program. You will work under the food services supervisor to help prepare meals and maintain the kitchen area. This role requires flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and some weekends.
What you'll do#
- Assist cooks and helpers with meal preparation.
- Clean and sanitize food storage, preparation, and dish room areas.
- Move food supplies and ingredients to cooking areas.
- Clean the area outside the student snack bar.
- Perform other tasks as assigned in the Admin Building.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must be a current Job Corps student and a completer ready for work-based learning.
- You need to carry your student card.
- Enrollment in the Culinary Arts program is preferred.

- Location: Reno, Nevada.
- Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $17.20 per hour.
