About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship program within the Wealth Advisory Services department of Wilmington Trust. You will gain exposure to wealth planning strategies, client relationship management, and advisory services for high-net-worth individuals. The role includes administrative and planning support to help you develop professional skills and build a network within the bank.
What you'll do#
- Complete entry-level professional duties specific to your assigned area.
- Coordinate and prepare client meeting agendas.
- Document and enter pre-call plans.
- Assist with client servicing activities and support the wealth planning process.
- Ensure all activities follow internal policies and external regulations.
- Identify and escalate risk-related issues to management.
- Design and maintain internal controls to mitigate risk.
- Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the company brand.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated computer and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail.
