About the role#
This is a Federal Work-Study (FWS) position open to current Loma Linda University students. The role involves supporting the hiring department with various administrative tasks and operational duties. Candidates must understand and embrace the mission, purpose, and identity of Loma Linda University Health.
What you'll do#
- Assist the department with daily operational duties.
- Lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate with team members.
- Operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position.
- Work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure.
- Manage multiple assignments and organize workloads effectively.
- Perform other tasks as needed to support department functions.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one year of experience is preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and speak with professional quality in English.
- Proficiency with computer software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Strong interpersonal skills to relate and communicate positively and effectively with others.
- Ability to think critically, solve problems, and pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to perform basic math and statistical functions.
