About the role#
This position is open to current Loma Linda University students. The role involves supporting the hiring department with daily operations and administrative tasks. Candidates must understand and embrace the mission, purpose, and identity of the institution.
What you'll do#
- Assist the hiring department with various duties and assignments.
- Operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment.
- Lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate with team members.
- Maintain a calm, professional demeanor when working under pressure.
- Enforce policies consistently to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least one year of previous experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with computer software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Strong professional communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
- Ability to think critically, solve problems, and manage multiple assignments independently.
- Attention to detail and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads.
