About the role#
The Student position supports the Under Graduate department at Loma Linda University Health. This role involves assisting with daily departmental operations, managing special projects, and providing essential support to students during exam periods. This is an unpaid, on-site role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Proctor student exams during designated exam weeks.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to provide support for students requiring testing accommodations.
- Assist with special projects and general administrative tasks to support departmental operations.
- Operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment as needed.
What you'll need#
- Must be a current Loma Linda University student.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one year of experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Ability to read, write, and speak with professional quality and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize workloads, and work independently under pressure.
- Ability to relate and communicate positively and professionally with others, while maintaining consistency in enforcing policies and regulatory standards.
