About the role#
This position is open to current Loma Linda University students. The student will assist the hiring department with various administrative and operational duties as assigned. Candidates must understand and embrace the mission, purpose, and identity of Loma Linda University Health.
What you'll do#
- Assist the department with daily operational tasks and projects.
- Enforce organizational policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, rules, and laws.
- Supervise, teach, and collaborate with team members.
- Maintain a calm, courteous demeanor when working under pressure.
- Perform other duties as required to support department objectives.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one year of experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with computer software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment.
- Strong professional communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
- Ability to think critically, manage multiple assignments, and organize workloads independently.
- Capability to perform basic math and statistical functions.
