About the role#
This position is open to current Loma Linda University students. The role involves assisting the hiring department with daily operations and supporting various organizational needs. Candidates must understand and embrace the mission, purpose, and identity of Loma Linda University Health.
What you'll do#
- Assist the hiring department with various administrative and operational duties.
- Enforce policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, rules, and laws.
- Collaborate, teach, and provide leadership to team members.
- Work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure.
- Manage multiple assignments, organize workloads, and solve problems independently.
- Perform basic math and statistical functions, and compose written materials as needed.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one year of experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with computer software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to distinguish colors, hear for general conversation, and read documents or computer screens.
