About the role#
As a Civil Engineering Intern in our Transportation Structures group, you will gain hands-on experience in the engineering field. This role allows you to work alongside experienced professionals, explore our culture, and participate in daily project operations. You will support larger projects through unique assignments while learning about the services we provide.
What you'll do#
- Complete engineering assignments under the direction of experienced staff.
- Shadow daily operations to learn about different project phases.
- Participate in social engagement activities and team events.
- Assist with specific tasks that contribute to larger engineering projects.
- Learn about our various sectors and service offerings.
What you'll need#
- You have completed at least 3 years of high school.
- You have an interest in pursuing a STEM-focused undergraduate degree.
- You have completed relevant engineering or STEM coursework.
- You possess a strong academic record and a high level of motivation.
- You have good organizational and communication skills in both written and oral formats.
- You are detail-oriented with the ability to identify discrepancies.
- You work well in a team environment.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- You have a sincere desire to learn about the industry and our company.

- Location: Austin, Texas.
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time position.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
