About the role#
Collins Engineers, Inc. is hiring a Civil/Construction Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. This full-time, on-site role is based in Downers Grove, Illinois. You will spend most of your time in the field working on heavy highway and bridge construction projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform construction inspections on active project sites.
- Complete field reporting.
- Monitor construction to ensure it follows applicable standards and contract drawings.
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare project documents.
