About the role#
This Civil Engineering internship offers hands-on experience working on municipal roadway and utility projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers and construction professionals, gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of engineering projects. This role involves a mix of office-based design work and on-site field activities.
What you'll do#
- Support field staff with on-site construction observation, surveying, and staking.
- Assist project managers and engineers with project development and design tasks.
- Draft project information using AutoCAD and related software.
- Communicate effectively with internal staff, contractors, and clients.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Completed or currently enrolled in relevant engineering coursework.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with basic AutoCAD tasks from coursework or previous jobs.
- Interest in municipal engineering or land development projects.
- Ability to report to the office and local construction sites during the summer 2027 season.
